The Freeplay Plus AM/FM/SW radio with Emergency LED light is the ultimate all-in-one utility and entertainment package.

The Freeplay Plus reaches new heights of spring power efficiency, playing off spring power alone for 50 minutes from only 30 seconds of winding. With its solar panel, the radio will play all day in direct sunlight and will save spring power by switching automatically to make use of all available light. For additional convenience, the Freeplay Plus can also be powered through an AC/DC wall adaptor. An integral battery allowing storage of energy rounds out the features.

Radio lovers will appreciate the Freeplay Plus' two shortwave bands covering 3 - 18 MHz. Housed in a stylish, rugged black ABS casing, the Freeplay Plus is the ultimate product for audio and illumination dependability.

Optional short wave antenna

This portable short wave antenna will improve the performance and reception of your short wave radio considerably, and will easily outperform its built-in telescoping antenna. It's antenna wire may be extended to a full 23 feet (7 meters) and when not in use it may be easily rewound into its case to fit neatly in your shirt pocket. The antenna is terminated with a 1/8"(3.5mm) mini-plug suitable for plugging directly into the radio or any other short wave radio with a 1.8" (3.5mm) external antenna jack.

  B-Motor textured carbon steel spring, driving a DC generator through a transmission. Approximately 55 turns provides full energy storage.
• Spring Saver This circuit allows playtimes of up to 60 minutes. At low power demand, this device stores generated energy not required by the radio, resulting in a slower unwind rate.

• External
  Optional AC/DC adapter (centre pin positive) 6V DC/100mA (minimum).

• Solar Power
  High performance thin amorphous film solar panel, with 3.0V 50mA output.
